Rising injury claims set to hit insurers

Soaring personal injury claims look set to push up motor insurers' claims costs by 28 per cent during the coming five years. Insurers' pay-outs are likely to jump from £8.5 billion in 2007 to £10.9 billion by 2012, according to market analyst Datamonitor.
